Woohoo. My 32 birthday cards are finally done. I finished them last night. I am so excited. So, that means I started the anniversary ones right? Nope.
I picked up my cross stitch again. I figure, my new nephew is due to arrive in less then 2 months, the first anniversary I need a card for isn't for awhile....April I think, so I have time, but I don't have much time left to get this birth sampler done, so today I sat in Ron's office, listened to him work, and did some stitching.
Sabres won last night....thank God. My boys are not doing well this season.
My girlfriend Luanna updated her care page today and she is doing well again. Thank God. Just keep praying that everything else is good too.
Today was a better Mommy day. Andrew was really good today, and I told him that at dinner. I was happy that my sweet Andrew showed up today, and not monster Andrew that was here yesterday. Evan on the other hand had a rough day. I love that he takes a nap every day at school, BUT, they wake the kids up about 10 minutes before dismissal, and Evan can't handle that so on some days, today, he gets to the car very cranky and yells, screams, cries, the whole way home. 20 minutes of hell.
Oh crap. In my attempt to do things of importance first, the birth sampler, I just realized that I don't have my sisters thank you cards made yet. 30 of them. Shower is Feb 16. They are so adorable, but they are a PITA, lots of cutting. This sucks. Oh well, I love doing this, I love doing this, so I don't mind it. I know some of the people that will get them from her truly appreciate my work, so it's worth it. They are so darn cute.
I woke up this morning and turned on the Today show, just in time to catch an interview with Hillary Clinton, lucky me. Man, that interview pissed me off. I won't get into it, you know, I have a rule, no politics or religion with friends and family, and the few times I have broken said rule, it was not pretty, but I will say, I lost respect for NBC this morning. I am not a Hillary fan, and I also know the media spins stories whichever way they choose, but damn, this was just stupid!
So, I watched a couple episodes of 2 shows I haven't seen in years....Angel and Mad About You. Ahhhh David Boreanaz....yum, plus, he is from Buffalo and a Sabres fan. So, the morning turned out good.
Ok, I think I am going to finish stitching the rattle, and then I am going to go to bed. I have had a few too many vodka tonics tonight, and I am starting to feel vvvvvveeeeeerrrrrryyyyyy tttttiiiirrrrreeeeddddd.
Oh, one more thing, in case she sees this, I know a link was given to her....Hi Mary! Miss ya. 7 years, it's been too long.
