The big 7

Today my first born turned 7. I can't believe it. He came upstairs and I gave him 7 kisses, which he just loved. He will really love it when he is a teenager. LOL I made cinnamon rolls last night so this morning all I had to do was bake them and man, they were delicious, my best batch yet, and Andrew didn't want any. Oh well. At least Lea and Evan loved them.
We gave him his birthday present which he saw the night before because he is a punk! He went searching in my drawers in my craft room and saw it, right in front of me, and when I said "hey" he laughed, closed the drawer and said "I didn't see anything." and went into his room, still laughing.

All week long he has asked for a bible, that is all he wanted. I think that is sweet, but so weird. How many 7 year olds ask for a Bible for their birthday? A few months back he wanted a rosary in the worst way, so when I went to Buffalo I bought him one, not much chance on getting one down here, and he loved it, and was so happy. I think this Catholic education is doing wonders for him. And who says Catholics aren't Christian?

I went to school and had lunch with first Evan, and then Andrew, and that was nice, but Evan didn't want me to leave, so that was hard. He knows I will melt when he gives me those sad eyes, but I just couldn't today, I had to leave, he had things he had to do in school, like science, which he loves and he did say that too.

Here are some pictures from today. Andrew with his Bible...

Cake I made, but Ron decorated....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANDREW!

I love that he wanted a bible for his birthday, Jennifer! Janie really wanted one of her very own last year, so we bought her one right around Easter.

Now for her birthday this year... she wants Breyer horses, a birth stone Barbie and the Black Stallion movie.

I told her it was her birthday, not Christmas! LOL

Love the cake... props to you and Ron!
