The kids all started back to school a couple weeks ago and everyone is happy with the teachers they got. My oldest loves 5th grade. He did very well on his tcaps and he scored high enough on his placement test to be in the honors math. I am very proud of him. He is experiencing what having homework every night is like, but he is being very good about it. He gets home and gets right on it. Hopefully this lasts all year.
E really likes his teacher as well. I did not non-request any teachers for my children but I did ask for E that he get a teacher who is more warm and fuzzy and his teacher is perfect for him. I really like her a lot, but more importantly, he likes her a lot too.
My baby started K this year. Last year in pre-k she only went on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so starting this week she goes all 5 days. She is SO excited. She loves school. We didn't get the teacher that I subtly requested but she thinks her teacher is "great". I was a little worried about her teacher this year only because she adored her teachers last year and I wasn't sure anyone could live up to them, but L loves her.
PTA is going well so far, knock on wood. We are in the middle of membership craziness right now but I have such a great team this year and it is going great. (Again, knock on wood.)
I am on the hunt for a new house again. This is really too stressful. I found a nice subdivision, and I think I like the house that we would build but I am just not sure. I LOVED that one house from a few months ago, but we want a basement. This new house would have a basement, but I am just so uncertain about it. Decisions decisions. Whatever is meant to happen will happen.
