I didn't make it.
I ran at the same park I have been running at, with the 2 hills, and the 2 slow long inclines. After running that twice I think I did my calves in. I just couldn't go any longer.
I came home so disappointed in myself. I sat down and added up the minutes of the songs I did run and it equaled 13:36. Thats 5 1/2 minutes longer then I have ever run!!!!! That is something I should be very proud of, so I am going to be proud of myself. I am also not going to go to week 6 yet. Day one of week 6 is run 5 minutes, walk 3 minutes, run 8 minutes, walk 3 minutes, run 5 minutes, and I know I will be able to do that, so I am going to stay on W5D3 until I master it! And I will master it, mark my word!

I know you will master it. Some days are just easier than others. I felt really good today but Monday might be a totally different story. You should be so totally proud, running for 13 minutes is a huge accomplishment and it is one step closer to the next goal of 20 min. YOU CAN DO IT!!
Jennifer, don't worry you will do it! Running outside is totally different then treadmill or indoor tracks because of natural slopes etc., and you have some major hills!
You can do it -- do not get discouraged! We all have off days. Today I ran really slow again but I completed the challange but I'm bummed at my miles per minute ratio.
