What I've been doing

I've been living at the elementary school!

We are finally on our way to becoming an official, approved by the county, PTO. Our application went out for our non-profit status, and I have been working on typing up our charter and by-laws. Such good times.

This weekend I had to get all the PTO stuff together, make membership forms, get committee sign up sheets, and make it all look nice. Here is my committee sign up board:

I also made a poster of all the school incentives. It's not something the PTO gets, but the school does, and in my opinion, the PTO helps the school so we can help collect these things.

Speaking of school incentives. Did you know you can do searches on something called good search and when you do, good search donates money to the school? I always, always use google, but now I signed up with good search. (those of you that want to help Andrew and Evan, use Pleasant Ridge Elementary, Knoxville, TN) then you add it to your tool bar. Instead of using the upper right hand google search box, why not use the left side good search box and give our school some money?

I have been exhausted lately. I really need to make some cards. My new Stampin Up kit comes Wednesday, finally. Really dumb on my part to sign up the same week as the new catalog orders started. I am pretty sure I will have a HUGE order Sept 1. I already had a big order before I even signed up, but if you havent already seen the new holiday mini....wow. There is one fall set in particular that I MUST have. It will be perfect for my Thanksgiving cards I send out. I can't wait to get it.

Evan finally goes to school full time starting Monday. He is so excited. He loves school so much. Andrew is still doing okay. I am very proud of him. I had a rough time of it yesterday, but it's all just Mommy guilt. I survived. I am turning into "that" Mom though. The Mom that emails the teacher to make sure her child is ok. Thankfully, as far as I know, his teacher is okay with it. She better be anyway, I am the PTO President! LOL totally kidding!

Have a great weekend. I am almost done with what I needed to do this weekend, so hopefully I will have some cards to show. If not, I am sure I will want to play with my new stamps that arrive Wednesday.
