Everytime the kids have ever done anything that was helpful when they were young I always said "what a big helper you are", or "what a good helper you are." Well, after having three kids, I was finally told the same thing...
Lea got a cut on her finger yesterday afternoon so she had a band-aid on it, Dora of course. Last night at bedtime the band-aid fell off and she became hysterical. I told her I would get her another one. In between her tears she rubs her hand across the side of my face and says "You are such a good helper."
