Day one

I can't believe it's already 2009! Time is just flying by. In 10 days, so I have been told many times today, my son will be 8!

Today I came up with my card idea for my 2009 birthday cards. I normally try to keep them on the very simple side because I need to make 44 of them, but this year I didn't like anything I was working with so I made layers. I got 2 cards done! LOL

Actually, all the cupcakes are stamped, cut and colored, and I probably would have most of them done except that I stopped to take down all the Christmas decorations. The tree is still up, but there is nothing on it. I will post pictures of the cards tomorrow.

I also needed to sit down and write some PTO news for the principals newsletter, and that took some time. ;)

I am so tired tonight, staying up to watch the ball drop last night kicked my butt. OH, I have one question! Last night, right behind the ball in Times Square, there was a billboard for PBS. It was advertising the Electric Company!!! Does anyone remember when this show was on back in the 70's? Ron doesn't remember it, but I swear it was on. I need to look this up. I used to love Electric Company! That and 3 2 1 Contact!!!! Please, someone, tell me you remember these shows, so I can assure myself that I am not crazy! (Those of you that are younger then me by 5-8 years, no need to respond, you won't remember it. And for those of you that don't know my age, I am 35. I know, I don't look 35 AT ALL!) LOL
