I made this today, trying to postpone cleaning my sons room, I so dread going in there. I actually really like how it came out. I actually took my time while coloring in the apple image and it came out great. Imagine that. I am thinking about making a bunch more for the fall for the store.
Stamps: SU Give Thanks, SU Canvas
Paper: Bravo Burgundy, Sahara Sand, Basic Black, white
Ink: Palette Noir
Other: Prismacolor pencils, burnt ochre, crimson lake, kelp green, cool grey 50%, SU grosgrain ribbon
I have also been scrapping the last couple days. I got 6 pages done. Shocking. I am now at Evan's birthday last year. Still have most of 2005 to do yet too.
I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday afternoon because they had paper 50% off and I desperately needed certain colors of the textured cardstock. Well! They are putting out all their fall and Christmas stuff. OH MY. If you love fall decorations, and you have a HL near you, RUN! They have such great stuff this year.
While looking through the Christmas crafts I found a little paper mache block ornament. I thought, that is so my Christmas craft this year. I bought one, and I already decorated it, now I just need to get pictures of my kids on it. I thought I could make these for everyone, for Corie pictures of the boys, and for Laura, pictures of Jack, and then Lynn and Mom, just really pretty decorated ones. I am so excited. Once I have it done, hopefully soon, I will post a picture.
Evanism:
Last night I made brownies (the low fat ones), and the kids were going nuts. When I finally cut into them Evan says "I changed my mind. I would rather have an ice pop. I'll have a brownie tomorrow." I ask to make sure he is sure and he says yes. Off he goes to pick out an ice pop.
About 30 minutes later Evan comes into my room where I was watching TV and says "I changed my mind, I want my brownie now."
"But didn't you already eat your ice pop?"
"Yes, but I changed my mind."
Yeah, explaining to Evan that it doesn't work that way, went over real well.
