Evan looked so handsome in his sportcoat and tie, and he did GREAT! He did an excellent job and I was so proud of him. Here are some pictures of him:
Lea was so good too. She stayed with a friend of mine while I went up towards the front of the church to get some pictures. I was proud of her as well.
I should have known something bad was going to happen.
Lea got three stitches this afternoon. :(
While we were walking out of the school to go have lunch on the school grounds, it was family picnic day, Lea got tripped up and went head first into the corner edge of the metal door, and it went right through her forehead. Blood gushed out fast. Thankfully, the woman that was there with me when it happened is married to an ER doctor and she called him. He came over and looked at her, well as much as Lea would let him, and told me yes, she would need stitches, maybe glue, but definitely needs to be seen. He told me to call my pediatrician first because they may be able to do it at the office. Thank goodness they did, saved me an ER trip.
Best part of this story, Ron was out of town. Ron is always out of town when something happens. Evan has been to the ER three times, all 3 times Ron was out of town. We had a nice run there for awhile, but now, again, trauma. Having all 3 kids, when one needs stitches...so fun. I do not recommend it.

Oh no, poor Lea...and poor YOU! The worst is over though. I had stitches in that same general area 3 times as a small child (all under 5yrs old). No one can see my scars but myself ;-) Oh, and I'm the youngest of 3 and one of them was when my brother and I were fighting over a toy, he let go, I went flying into the corner of the wall. I'm sure you and my mom could really sympathize with eachother, LOL.
